Antibacterial Cleanser

Retail in 4 oz. | Professional in 12 oz.

Antibacterial Cleanser is designed for acne clients with normal to oily skin. It provides maximum bacterial control against Propionibacterium acnes and other undesirable bacteria and their acne promoting lipases without causing dryness. The specific extract from cinnamon bark inhibits the action of 5 alpha reductase, including its acne promoting actions in the sebaceous glands, as well as cyclooxygenase-2 (cox-2), a known pro-inflammatory enzyme. One percent of the population is allergic to topical cinnamon extract and will develop redness and stinging following use on approximately the second or third day. Switch this small number of clients who react to cinnamon to Bacteriostat Cleanser. This product is step 1 in our three step system for acne control for normal , oily or combination skin. pH 3.6
